About

I have no stake in defending your original plan. That's the whole value.

HiPoint Road is one advisor, not an agency roster — brought in either before you commit to a direction, or after, when you're stuck inside one and need someone who didn't build it to tell you the truth about it.

Why This Exists

Most strategy advice comes from people selling you the next step.

Agencies make money on execution — the ads, the site, the campaign. Which means their incentive is to get you spending as fast as possible, whether or not the underlying strategy actually holds up.

HiPoint Road doesn't execute. There's no retainer tied to ad spend, no incentive to keep a project running longer than it needs to. The only product is a clear, honest answer to: is this the right move, and if so, how do you make it — cheaply, and without guessing.

That's also why it works just as well after the fact. If you're stuck — the campaign that should be working isn't, the U.S. launch has gone quiet, the growth plateau won't budge — the team that built the original plan is usually the worst-positioned to tell you what's wrong with it. They're too close, and too invested in it having been right. I wasn't in the room for any of those decisions, which means I can actually tell you which one to unwind.

Kim Skoretz

Kim has spent 20+ years working the intersection of brand strategy and customer acquisition — the layer between "what does this company actually offer" and "why does anyone buy it." A graduate of USC's Marshall School of Business, she's spent her career advising companies through growth plateaus, repositioning efforts, and, increasingly, the specific challenge of bringing a business that already works somewhere else into the U.S. market for the first time.

She currently leads growth strategy for New Zealand's game development sector, where the industry's revenue has doubled over the past three years — work centered on removing the friction of doing business globally.

"Most small business owners and international founders don't need another agency selling them tactics. They need someone who'll tell them honestly whether the tactic is even worth trying — before they pay to find out." — Kim Skoretz
